Frequently asked questions

Should you, in spite of all good care, experience damage to your goods upon receipt, this needs to be reported to our office within 10 working days after receipt of your goods.

The claim form, which will be sent to you, must be completed, signed, and returned to our office together with pictures and possible repair or replacement estimates, within two weeks after receipt.

Depending on the amount of the claim, reimbursement will follow as soon as possible. For larger claims insurers, may decide to call in a local claim surveyor.

In case of total loss, goods will be compensated for the value as applicable at the time of damage. For older items, the value will be subject to a realistic depreciation. Items without a clear commercial value, such as paintings and/or
antiques, will in case of total loss, only be compensated for the insured value.

Please note: do never dispose of any damaged items before the claim is finalized.

You have 10 days from the date of the goods being delivered to you to report any damages found.

It’s important to inspect all delivered items right away to adhere to this 10 day limit.

In case of damage a deductible may be applicable on this insurance.

Your goods are not insured if you pack them yourself. If you decide to pack certain goods yourself, always leave the boxes open so the crew can check everything before final departure.
